Therapy in Lehi, Utah
Lehi has grown into the center of Silicon Slopes almost within one career’s span, and the pace of that growth shows up in the people who live there: engineers, product managers and founders working hours that outlast the daylight, in new subdivisions built faster than the roads around them.

A Company Town, Built Fast
Long Hours, New Neighborhoods
Tech work rewards a particular kind of intensity: always reachable, always optimizing, measured in sprints and quarters rather than seasons. Plenty of Lehi clients arrive describing a version of success that no longer feels like one: a good title, a growing equity stake, and a body that has quietly stopped sleeping well.
Around that work sit young families in neighborhoods that barely existed five years ago, often without the extended networks (grandparents nearby, longtime neighbors, a settled school community) that make small-kid years easier. New subdivisions can be lonely in ways that are hard to admit when everything on paper looks like it is going well.
Where the Work Concentrates
Burnout and Attention
Two concerns show up repeatedly with Lehi clients. The first is burnout: a slow erosion of motivation and patience that started as dedication and turned into depletion, often missed by the person experiencing it because the output has not dropped yet, only the cost of producing it. The second is attention: adults who have always managed to compensate for scattered focus through sheer effort, and are finding that effort no longer covers the gap once the job, the commute and a young family are all pulling at once.
These two often travel together. Undiagnosed ADHD makes long hours feel necessary because tasks take longer than they should; burnout then flattens the exact executive function someone was relying on to manage it. Untangling which is driving which is often the real work of the first several sessions.
Seeking help for your problems means you’re taking action.
Why a Private Hour Matters
Not a Session From the Car
Telehealth is convenient for people commuting past the Point of the Mountain toward Salt Lake City or working from a Lehi campus, but convenience has a failure mode: logging in from a parked car between meetings, half-present, watching the clock for the next calendar invite. That is not really the hour, and it tends to produce sessions that feel busy but change nothing.
A closed door at home, a quiet corner of an office booked out on the calendar, or simply committing to leave the phone in another room does more for the work than the platform does. Athena’s office remains in Salt Lake City for anyone who wants the structure of physically going somewhere; for everyone else, protecting the hour itself is the more realistic version of showing up.
Athena is licensed in Utah only, so telehealth clients need to be located in Utah at the time of session. She does not treat substance abuse, grief, or OCD, and is not a prescriber.
Common Questions
Lehi Therapy Questions
- Can I do a session between meetings?
- You can try, but Athena would rather you did not. A rushed session eaten by a calendar notification is not the hour you are paying for. A closed door and forty-five uninterrupted minutes matters more than squeezing it into a gap.
- Do you treat ADHD in adults, or just kids?
- Adults, primarily. Many Lehi clients are adults noticing, often for the first time in their careers, that scattered focus and missed follow-through are costing them at work and at home, not a checklist of childhood symptoms.
- Is Athena’s office in Lehi or Silicon Slopes?
- No, her office is in Salt Lake City. Lehi clients meet by telehealth, up I-15 past the Point of the Mountain; anyone who prefers in person is welcome to make that drive to Salt Lake City instead.
- What does an individual session cost?
- 60 minutes at $200. Select Health, BCBS, UBH and University of Utah Health Plans are accepted.
