Coverage, copays and deductibles vary by individual plan. It is worth calling your insurer to confirm your outpatient mental health benefit before your first session.
Cancellation policy
A 24-hour cancellation policy applies. Please give at least 24 hours' notice to change or cancel a session.
Therapy does not come with guaranteed outcomes, and Athena is licensed in Utah only.
Billing
Insurance and Estimates
Out-of-network
If Athena is not in network with your plan, a superbill is provided on request. You submit it to your insurer for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Reimbursement amounts are set by your plan, not by this practice.
Good Faith Estimate
Under the No Surprises Act, clients who are uninsured or who choose not to use insurance have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected cost of services. Athena will provide one in writing on request, and you can ask for it before scheduling.
